Nanotimes (www.nanotimes.fr), a young software development company specializing in nanoscience, is seeking a project manager to further the firm’s development.
You will hold a doctorate in physics and/or chemistry, and are familiar with quantum chemistry modelling and parallel computing. You will work in particular within the framework of the ANR (French National research
Agency) project « NanoSim Graphene » (http://www.nanosimgraphene.org/), in collaboration with the project’s other academic partners. You will be responsible for optimizing an existing simulation code (reverse
engineering, recoding) and will improve it by incorporating new features or new algorithms, in accordance with the needs and results of the research project. In addition, you may need to meet and share regularly
with project stakeholders and communicate the results of the project at symposia or conferences designed for this purpose.
Later, you will be participating at the heart of the company, designing and developing new products and / or simulation engines.

With your well developed relationship skills, you will be at ease representing the company to the academic world, which you know well.
Computer skills required (by order of importance):
- Numerical modelling, quantum- chemistry
- Fortran (77, 90)
- Linux / Unix, good knowledge of Windows
- Design, development, testing-
- Distributed and parallel computing
Experience in scanning probe microscopy will be favourably regarded.
Fluency in English (written, oral) is mandatory.
